So, You Want To Go Back To School But Are Worried About…

Being Too Old

Think you’re too old to go back to school? Think again! Women aged 30+ are one of the largest online student groups—in fact, University of Phoenix (one of the largest online private universities) has an average student body between the ages of 33 and 36. Plus, 2/3 of its students are women and most have family or work-related commitments.[5]

Money

Dear Mama Maggie…

Hi. I’m Magdalena (but you can call me Maggie). I’m a late-in-life mom, fussy needy complaining child mom, working mom and oh yeah, a happily married wife! I have two outstandingly beautiful little girls and I love to give advice! I made the decision to go back to school and earn my bachelor’s degree in Psychology after I became pregnant with my second little girl. It wasn’t easy, but I am proud to say “I DID IT!” and I encourage anyone who wants to further their education to do the same.

My mission is to help encourage, inspire and commiserate with other moms like (or unlike) me who want to further their education too. If you have a question—anything at all—related to being a mom and a student, I’d love to help.
